Resorts International - The Real Deal :
Resorts International is one of our "preferred" places to play craps. Odds are good (3,4,5x) and the dealers are great fun. The casino can sometimes be a bit crowded when the bus junkets are in full force.
Location of Resorts International:
Right next to the Taj Mahal and, further north Showboat, with Ballys and Caesars a few blocks south.

Resorts International History
Resorts International was the first casino to open in Atlantic City and was once owned by talk show host and Jeopardy/Wheel of Fortune creator Merv Griffin. After a long stint in the Atlantic City casino portfolio of real estate conglomerate Colony Capital, the resort was sold at auction to another real estate investor, who partnered with long time Atlantic City casino executive Dennis Gomes to turn the property around. In 2012, Resorts announced partnership with Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville to bring a Margaritaville restaurant and casino to the property. Shortly thereafter, Resorts announced a management agreement with the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, owner operators of the Mohegan Sun casinos in Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
The Rooms at Resorts International
Resort's AC, Atlantic City's first casino boasts having some of the largest standard hotel rooms in the city with an art-deco theme. While art is plentiful, the rooms are a wee sparse with the 'deco'. The bathrooms, however, are more aptly appointed. Guests have a choice of the Rendevous and Ocean Towers. Both offer views of the Atlantic, while the best suites are in the Rendezvous.
The Rendezvous Tower is the opulent art deco tower set further from the beach. Rendezvous Tower rooms come in two flavors, standard rooms and suites, both come in king or dual queen configurations. The decor is, well, old... blonde wood furnishings, floral print bed spreads, pastel colored artwork, yeah... that 80's look.
The Ocean Tower is the older, shorter tower that is right on the Boardwalk. Ocean Tower rooms feature updated decor and come in both king and dual queen configurations.
